# 会社や法人の定款とはどんなものですか？

A. 定款とは、会社や法人の組織・活動に関する根本規則で、重要な決まり事をまとめたものです。「会社の憲法」と呼ばれることもあります。

定款には、会社や法人の名称、本店所在地、目的、資本金、株式数、役員の氏名、定款の変更方法など、基本事項が記載されています。

定款は、株式会社や法人の設立時に作成し、公証役場で認証を受けなければなりません。

定款の内容は会社・法人設立後も必要に応じて変更することができます。
